What it is
Self-compacting concrete
A mix proportioned to flow under its own weight, pass between congested reinforcement and compact without vibration. Used where needle vibrators cannot reach, for architectural finishes and for fast placement in cores and columns. Tested by slump flow, not slump.
Typical elements

- Thin walls and architectural concrete
- Repairs and jacketing
- Precast with dense reinforcement
